LaRS was formed by accomplished, local businessmen Jon Liebler, Jake Liebler, Derek Robertson and Bill Strack. Their goal is to give clients a single contractor that provides turn-key services for each project – one contact, one contractor, one goal.
Meet the Team
Jon has over 20 years of experience in commercial contracting and residential property acquisition and development. During the last few years, Mr. Liebler has simultaneously managed over $40 million of development projects. He has personally invested in both commercial and residential developments. Mr. Liebler is responsible for the overall management of the company.
Derek has 10 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisition, development and management. Since 2005, Mr. Robertson has been director of development and acquisition for CD&A, Inc., Leebcor Properties, Leebcor Services LLC and Robertson Liebler Development Group, a commercial mixed-use developer located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Robertson is responsible for acquisition, pre-development finance, financial analysis and property portfolio management.
Bill has 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Before joining LaRS he served as president and part owner of a large commercial general and site work contractor. His experience and expertise encompasses all phases of site work and utility work. Mr. Strack’s project management experience scales a variety of project sizes that have ranged from $1M up to $20M in value. He also has extensive experience in rezoning and residential development.
Jake has 10 years experience working for a large commercial general and site work contractor in the role of CFO. He brings to LaRS a strong background in Accounting and Finance, including a Certified Public Accountant license. Prior to his years working for a Contractor, Mr. Liebler worked at a public accounting firm doing corporate taxes, audits and special engagements for REIT and Construction clients. His experience also includes the successful management of several real estate entities; which included a home building company, residential developments and commercial properties.
